The Blahs

My camera died.

I am sick with a cold.

Colton is teething.

And my husband is mowing the yard.  Seriously.  All.the.time.

Those are my excuses for no blog updates.

I have the sicky ickys.  Yep.  Its a real medical diagnosis.  I am a nurse.

Trust Me!

Be back when I get my life together.

Colton's Favorite Shows

Colton watches television at certain times of day.  I have become accustomed to a lot of Nick Jr. TV programs and even enjoy watching them sometimes.  Some of our favs:

1. Blues Clues

I don't love watching this show but Colt enjoys it sooooo much.  The episodes with Steve freak me out because all I can see is this:

This is him after he left the show and tried to be a Rock Star...FREAKY!

Joe is a little bit better but I still think he is a little strange to be acting like a 2 year old.

2. Yo Gabba Gabba

First, whoever writes this show does acid and a lot of other drugs.  Seriously the episodes can only be written and understood while on drugs.  If I did drugs this would be the show to watch!

DJ Lance is hilarious.  Colton loves the music.  The celebrities all do this show as well and its fun for adults to see actors doing a "Dancy Dance".  Its the new Sesame Street.

3. Olivia

My husband and I actually find ourselves watching this show even when Colton goes to bed.  I don't know why but it draws us in.  We are such dorks for watching a show with talking pigs!

4. Jack's Big Music Show

Puppets and music.  Nuff said!

5. The Fresh Beat Band

This is a little old for Colton but he enjoys shows with music.  He loves watching people play instruments and even sings along.  Well, if you call "lagalaga" singing.

Most of the shows Colt enjoys watching involve music.  All of them are educational in some way and Jason and I don't mind watching them either.

Get Excited

My favorite time of year is about to kick in.

Football!!!!!

Football is huge in this house, more NFL than college but its all football to us.

My husband loves the Redskins but fortunately for this Panthers fan we live in North Carolina and get to see them more.

Jason will be going to a Redskins game this year and its still up in the air if I will get to go see my Panthers.

We also will be going to some Duke football games too. I am excited to bring Colton and get him exposed to football early on so he can enjoy it too.

We are also part of a Fantasy Football League (yes, I am the only girl but I still kick butt and usually place pretty high).  Jason would love to get the NFL package but it is like somewhere around 250 bucks for the season and I don't know if it is worth it since a lot of the games we like can be seen on regular channels.

I am also excited this year because I can wear my jerseys again since I am not pregnant.  I had to retire them last year but like Brett Favre I brought them back since I can wear them again.

Are you ready for some football??!!!??
